I like funny, silly stories. I also like stories that have a reason.

A few years years ago, I had an idea for a story and decided to write it. As more ideas came forward on the same theme, I wrote them down and thought I could to turn them into a series and The Zoo at Kathmandu was started.

My stories are written for five to eight year olds though early scripts have been enjoyed by children younger and older.
As well as children, they have been read by parents, psychologists and considered by HarperCollins. All have commented on the ideas and humour.

“Without any doubt, you really have something.”

“You have to write twenty.”
                                                          Rosie Inglis  age 6 ½

"Your stories would be wonderful when working with children with social problems and bringing excluded children into a group.”
Deborah Purdy, child psychologist (fondly remembered)

"It was very good says 6year old Annabelle. Daniel was my favourite. Nice pictures says Mum and nice to read."

                                                              Manda

"Who Ate Monica The Japonica? was a charming read. Children will love this rhyming tale about two doggies searching everywhere to find out who at their owner's Japonica plant. And the illustrations matched the text so beautifully, even the style of them seemed to match the story. I would highly recommend this book for your own family or for a gift."

                                                                                                    Audrie Lee

“Basically we agree – the text and ideas are good. Really very cute, often funny.”
