​Hi, I'm Sarah and this is me with Molly the collie and Daniel the spaniel.
Yes, that is a snake net I'm holding. Unfortunately, Noah the boa managed to wriggle out through a window and got up in the trees. He didn't go far and we found him and settled him down again.
I look after the animals with Gina the cleaner and Annette the vet. We all end up doing the same things really - feeding, cleaning and making sure everyone is happy.

Rory McLaurie - Explorer, Zoologist
Hi, I'm Rory McLaurie and I'm the zoo naturalist. I travel the world looking for new species and animals for the zoo. Sometimes I take Rita, my special friend and puss-cat. There she is finishing my breakfast. She's a very fast cheetah and fantastic to have around when finding a new friend for our zoo - providing it's not too big and scary.​ We always look for animals who need help. Rory

I love running The Zoo at Katmandu. I made special friends with Brian, Yiyan (Ieuan) the mountain lion and Lena the hyena when I was nearly attacked by three wild wolves on my evening rounds.
Luckily the lions and hyena had all been let out after closing time by Ringo the dingo. They were magnificent and the wolves disappeared. The lions were on the way to steal five hundred sausages from the cafe delivery van which I stopped firmly.​
Yiyan the mountain lion comes for walks with me now on my evening rounds and the wolves stay well away :)
