There's a very special zoo,
To the north of Kathmandu....
It is special because it is different and it is different because of the people who run it and the unusual collection of animals who live there.
Sarah, Gina and Rory look after the animals with the help of their friends, Molly the collie and Daniel the spaniel. Molly is firm and kind with the animals whereas Daniel prefers to try their food and get muddy. All runs smoothly until one day a new guest arrives and turns everything upside down and not just because he is Australian....

Welcome to the zoo.
My name is Anika and I run The Zoo at Kathmandu.
My friends and I work hard to make our animals feel happy and safe.
It's not always easy as some of our animals are very clever. It's as if they can all talk to each other and to make it more difficult still, they can understand people too.
We have to be careful of what we say or we might lose them.
